Teaching Tip:

Find Someone Who . . . BINGO
Most of you who have been teaching ESL for a while are familiar with the FIND SOMEONE WHO… activity which gets students interacting and learning about their classmates. Here is a BINGO version that adds an element of competition to the activity. Simply arrange your list of FSW questions on a bingo grid, and have students try to get 5 in a row. Remember, the idea is for students to ask each question to his or her classmates individually until an affirmative answer is received. A student may write "no one" in a space ONLY after he or she has asked everyone in the class that particular question. For lower-level students, it's a good idea to review question forms before the activity.

Someone who likes melon Someone who does not have a bicycle Someone who has a part-time job Someone who doesn't own a TV Someone who has been sick this month
Someone with a large family Someone who lives with his/her family Someone who... etc .
Someone who has been to Paris Someone who... etc . .
Someone who is married etc . . .
Someone who knows how to sail . . . .
