Level: Pre-Intermediate to Advanced Materials: None In part one we introduced basic vocabulary for writing and following recipes.
Once students have mastered this target language, divide them into small teams
and have each team write one or two short recipes (keeping their recipes a
secret from the other teams). In turns, each team will choose one member to act out the preparation of the
dish for the class, step by step. The other teams have to guess the dish, as
well as accurately describe the steps along the way, based only on the
performer’s actions. Generally, one point for each step and three points for guessing the dish
works well. |
